LAMP – LITERARY ARCHIVES & MUSEUMS PLATFORM

Prague LAMP network conference – 19–21/10/2026

PROGRAMME (Full programme available for download at the bottom of the page)

The Prague conference is being held to mark the first meeting of LAMP – the international platform that brings together representatives of literary archives and museums from around the world. The programme focuses on the role of literary museums in modern society and on the challenges posed by today’s information and technological age to museums and archives responsible for preserving and managing literary culture. The conference does not seek to answer the question of exactly what a literary museum should look like in the 21st century. Rather, its purpose is to create a space for the exchange of experiences, specific projects, and examples of good practice, and to identify areas for future collaboration among institutions.

The conference is open to the wider professional community – museum and archive staff, researchers, teachers, students, and others with an interest in literary heritage.

Let’s explore the worlds of literary archives and museums from the inside!
