All the Beauties of the World
The publication of Seifert's memoirs Všecky krásy světa (All the Beauties of the World) in Československý spisovatel (1983, 1985), which the author characterizes in the subtitle as a book of stories and recollections, was affected by censorship. In the 1970s, selected chapters were published in typescript in samizdat editions (Kvart, Česká expedice), and in 1981 by Sixty-Eight Publishers in Toronto. The post-1989 publication of the uncensored memoirs was completed in 2015 with the publication by Akropolis of Dílo Jaroslava Seiferta (The Works of Jaroslav Seifert), which contains some extra material not included in the previous editions.
